Bio.

December 2020 saw the release of “Everyone” the new album by Northern Irish singer/ songwriter, Kyle John Suckling.

The title of the album is poignant as the tracks are written about many subject matters that everyone can hopefully relate to in some way. They were inspired and influenced by everyday life.

The content of the album is a collection of songs written and recorded over the last number of years. Kyle had been focussed on writing for tv, film and other performing artists for the last few years . CBBC used one of his songs last year in their series ‘My Life ‘. The track was entitled ‘In the sky ‘ and was a collaboration with fellow songwriter and DJ , Niall Hills . The unfortunate break from live gigs for all musicians in 2020 allowed Kyle some extra time to return to his original music and finish and release his second album.

Kyle's musical interests began back in his teens when he performed as a vocalist in local rock bands in Northern Ireland. The 1990s took him travelling and touring in Europe and the USA and finally living in London where he penned the songs for his first solo album. His thirties saw the arrival of his three children and the recording and releasing of his first album, 'i am a tree' ( CLICK HERE ).

The album was recorded both in Blue Room Studio, Donaghadee and also Millbank Studio Lisburn with producers James M Lyttle, Michael Mormecha and Richard Elder, and mastered by James M Lyttle.

A keen walker of the Mournes and Dromara Hills Kyle is a fan of local photographer David Cleland ( aka Flixelpix ) who’s photo collections include many of the fantastic changing landscapes of the Mourne region and who took the cover photo of the album, the stunning sunset at Slieve Croob.

Prior to current restrictions Kyle volunteered live acoustic gigs at a few local health trust day centres and residential homes. He has recently started to play weekly for the patients and residents through Zoom live from his living room. Anyone can listen in every Thursday at 2pm to some covers and original songs. Details of the gig are posted on Kyle’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/kjsuckling/
